The title track "Good Good Lovin" is a nod to British classic blues rock as is "Got Love". "21st Century Blues" features a thumping hello from Canada to modern Texas electric blues, "I'm Alright" is a riff-based romp, "Heaven Heaven" features Durst’s signature slide guitar style, "King Snake Prowl" is a powerful shuffle with a guitar siren ending, "What Could Have Been Love" is another in a line of serious goose-bump inducing blues songs from Durst and DeAngelis, "Northern Electric" is a blues music massage, finally to the tender and beautiful guitar display on the country blues, rock and roll classic "I Regret To Say". Good Good Lovin is blessed with the talents of producer, engineer, mixer Darren Morrison whose never-ending search for the ultimate "Durst Sound" has helped solidify Durst’s status as one of Canada’s premier blues-rockers. Multiple award winning Bill Durst has written and recorded over 125 songs on 12 albums and opened for Aerosmith, Yardbirds, Little Feat, Johnny Winter, Bad Company and many more. Durst is accompanied on the album by drummer Corey Thompson, who has an esteemed studio career and bassist Joe DeAngelis, the original singer for Thundermug.

This recording is an important example of dedicated musicians giving their full talent, vision, experience and joy to modern Canadian blues rock.

Now ain't that Good Good Lovin!

Durstwerks Recordings announces the official arrival of Good Good Lovin, the fifth full length album from Stratford, Ontario based guitarist, singer, songwriter, and member of the Jack Richardson Hall of Fame Bill Durst. Whether as a 19 year old on his first hit record with pioneering classic Canadian rock band Thundermug or on the new Good Good Lovin tracks, Bill Durst's style is based in blues and rock played with maximum feeling and soul. Good Good Lovin is big, big fun, no-holds barred, tender-loving, kickass Canadian blues rock.

"Every once in a while in the life of an artist the gods do smile”, says Durst "…and you are helped by unseen hands". Good Good Lovin is reason to smile indeed and a turning point in this period of Bill Durst's long and distinguished career. "After experimenting for a few years I think we have found our musical sweet spot". Bearded Bill and his writing partner, bassist Joe DeAngelis, agree that writing this album was a powerful experience and this nine song collection certainly delivers.
